Cigar Box Guitar

We all know the sound, but did you know what sort of guitar it came from. I didn't until I saw this video. this is a Cigar Box Guitar. They are an old "home made" guitar made popular in Delta Blues guitarist from back in the Depression days. I think they sound fantastic.

Here are a couple of site worth checking out if you want to find out some more. I think I'm going to make me one.

Oh man that thing sounds awesome! I've featured quite a few cigar box guitars on my site but I never got round to searching on youtube to hear one!

I know. I showed that vid to a buddy of mine and he's going to build one. Then I may make him build me one too.
