This Perth, Australia band has released what is possible the best album of the last few years. Amazing vocal, great songwriting, very good production. If you like good solid rock with a bit more cerebral content than usual, but not enough to send it into the prog zone, then this is for you.

Recording amps are a great idea. A tube amp sounds best when the volume is maxed and the tubes cranked, unfortunately human ears do not like so much. This amp has an output attenuator built in that lets you push the amp but reduce the output volume to usable levels. Fender has a great demo page up that lets you here this thing in action. My personal favourite is the dirty Tele, but check it out for yourself.

.... but I'm back. Basicaly I started working on my other site and just stalled on it, and then this, until I ended up with some new web design projects. I'm making this a guitar only blog again, as the other site is now my personal / musician / songwriting blog. Hope you all enjoy.
