I’ve gone video crazy. One of my favourite guitarists playing one of my favourite songs. Enjoy.

Fuller’s Limited Deluxified Gretch Guitars

Wow.

Of no use to me whatsoever, but Fuller’s Vintage Guitar (Houston, Texas, USA, Earth) is the sole distributor of these lovely, lovely guitars. The full specs are available here, and there are better images to drool over on that link also. While Cary over at EGR likes the Western, I love the the White Falcon. That guitar is bringing sexy back.

Linkin Park - Minutes To Midnight

Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight

Album of the Year? It’s up there. This is absolutely brilliant from first song to last. Not the Linkin Park of old but still sounds familiar.

Hot Tracks: Bleed It Out, Shadow Of The Day, Valentine’s Day, Hands Held High, oh just the whole damn album!!!

Yngwie Malmsteen - Blue

Me, I’m not a fan of Yngwie, but this clip is great for one real big reason. Watch only his right hand and listen to the guitar tone in the different sections. He is flicking that pick-up switch all over the place, switching to the bridge for the sharp bends and back to the neck for the smooth runs. Very cool. Most people sit it on pick-up with the tones and volumes on 10 and leave it like that for the whole night. This is a great lesson on proper pick-up use.

What A Weekend

I am stuffed. A word of warning to everyone, getting engaged is hard work. I’m not looking forward to getting married. We had a big Friday night with the friends out getting drunk, and it doesn’t help all that much when you know the owner of the establishment you are drinking at. We followed that up with a BBQ with family on Sunday. I’m still eating leftovers.

So you can se why the lack of posts since last week. That should be changing over the next few days. See you again soon.
