No time for guitar
I've had about three false starts now on the design for chriswatsonmusic.com (which will all be documented in part three of the Musician Project) and that is has taken some wind out of my sails. I'll get there though. I know the information and the layout I want, just making it in the style I want and being happy with it is proving to be a little tricky.
The weekend came and went and no music was recorded. It pisses me off slightly but I can deal. There probably won't be much time in the next few weeks anyway, with three websites in production and and our engagement party next weekend I'm really short on time. In fact I'm just squeezing this post in before I pass out for some much needed sleep.
If I didn't work 45 hours a weeks I would get so much more done. My album, my web design business, guitar, all that stuff would get done the way I want. But then again, I wouldn't be able to afford to do all these things I want done. Something's got to pay the bills until I can do what I want and make money off it (well enough to survive).

I have scrapped quite a few designs completely because it has just gone too far from what I originally wanted and I lost my way. I hate trying to decide on colors, that's my least favorite part.
Anyway, I know how you are feeling right now. Good luck and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Yep, my design concepts are greater than my photoshop skills that for sure. But I kinda look at it like music and end up working with the "happy accidents" more times than not.
I'm not going to get much done this week now so I'm a little bummed but once I get on a roll I'll smash it.

Yeah, I could never be a web designer. I'd never make my deadlines and I'd always end up going way over the amount of scheduled hours.
