New Endpin Design from Vigier

For rapid stage whirlers that want to avoid the crushing and crashing experience of dropping their precious guitar because of a strap button that is not securely in place, Vigier, the carbon fiber pioneer, has come to the rescue.

Patrice Vigier and his team have designed an end pin holder with a brass casing that inserts deep into the body and locks the strap button in place.

The design is exclusive and is only offered on Vigier guitars and basses.

I used to play in a band with a guitarist that had deformed elbows (yes I am serious), and the only way he could play guitar standing up was to have the guitar nearly upright. This meant that straps would just come right off his end pins. So he got clever and got straplocks, as you do. Unfortunately, the force of playing eventually pulled the pins clean out of the body.

I know it's rare but these things seem like a good idea. My only concern is the amount of body work you have to do to put them in. I sure as hell wouldn't put these in an acoustic.
