Graph Tech Gives String Saver Saddles A New Look

From my experience, you are either the type of person who snaps strings from the nut every time, or snap strings from the bridge everytime. I fall into the latter. I own two guitars that would take these saddles so I think I may be spending some money. According to the press release :
The distinctively black String Saver saddle material is a superior, chemically-grafted polymer that includes Teflon, the slipperiest material known to man. The system's unique design reduces friction and metal fatigue to virtually eliminate string binding and breakage while also increasing sustain by 15% over traditional materials.
"String Saver Steels are the perfect blend of form and function," says Graph Tech President Dave Dunwoodie. "For instance, with the chrome finish, you get all of the great treble spikes and tone of steel saddles, a sharp chrome look, plus the peace of mind that you won't bust a dinger in the middle of your solo."
At about US$70 a set they may not be that cheap, but I don't think they are too expensive either.
