I have been very interested in testing this out. Like most home musicians, my home studio is PC based, and I used the original AmpliTube for a long time but found that it could be rather limited. I switched to NI's Guitar Rig then Guitar Rig 2 but found that none of the software could really capture the dynamics in my playing the way that my amps did. The I heard this example of Amplitube 2. Could my dreams be answered? NI's GR2 has a similar function, but it involves triggering effect parameters with gates and oscillators and is very un-guitar like (but some may like that). Amplitube is just looking much more natural.
